Conference location, transport and restaurants
Thermae Bath Spa
Bath is known worldwide for its hot springs and its historic baths. We will have a reception by the Roman Baths, but as well as the rich history, you can enjoy a modern spa experience in the centre of the City. Thermae Bath Spa offers an array of facilities, more details can be found here.
It's unlikely that we'll be able to secure a significant
group discount to the full spa (the individual visit rate is
£40). However, we will facilitate groups interested in
arranging the exclusive hire of Cross
Bath for up to 12 people (Sessions in the Cross Bath
last for 1 ½ hours including changing time. Includes use of
towel, robe & slippers) Mon - Fri: £145 Sat
& Sun: £195 (whole group cost.)
Bath attractions
Bath offers a tour of three of the city's most important historical and cultural locations: the Roman Baths, Bath's Fashion Museum, and the Victoria Art Gallery.
More details about these attractions can be found here. Entry and a tour of all three locations will likely cost around £15/person.
Stonehenge, Avebury and Lacock
Stonehenge is a famous prehistoric stone circle nearby to Bath while Avebury has earthworks and avenues marked by monoliths. Lacock is a National Trust village, whose abbey has featured in films (Pride and Predjudice and Harry Potter)
We can help with booking on locally organized tours. More details of each site can be found here and here and here. We expect this to cost around £40/person, not including travel.
